Ryan Family YMCA is located in a residential neighborhood of Point Loma in San Diego. The facility includes a gymnasium, fitness center, community center, swimming pool and admin offices that are encased in a two story structure. At the main entry, the visitors are welcomed by the gentle natural lighting from the roof canopy covered with translucent insulated panels supported by the rows of Y-shaped columns, which symbolize YMCA. The facility is designed to be environmentally-friendly. In order to achieve this important task, LEED certification was chosen to evaluate the goals. Some features including photovoltaic solar power generation, the use of translucent insulated panels, and the solar water heating system for the swimming pool are integrated.

Borderview YMCA is located at the US-Mexico Border in San Diego. The long span, column-free spaces were designed with a pre-engineered steel structure with translucent, durable insulated cladding panels to ensure the indoor space is naturally lit while maintaining the aesthetics and conserving energy use.

Proposed Jewish Community Center on a 15 acre site with a Synagogue, School, Day-Care Center, Club House, Visitor's Accomodation and a Soccer Field. The site sits in a valley between two freeways and the topography of the site was especially challenging. Being a green field site, the excavation and in-fill had to be of equal quantities so that no outside soil was brought in.
