Elring Klinger Automotive Components Pvt. Ltd. is a German based company specializing in manufacturing engine gaskets. Launched for the first time in India, the 60000 Sqm plot area is located in Ranjangaon, an industrial belt on the outskirts of Pune. Phase 1 of this three part project involved a 4500 Sqm Production factory, a 500 Sqm Office, and a Cafeteria. To avail of maximum natural light, a north light roof truss was constructed on the roof of the production factory. A loading/unloading platform with a warehouse was connected adjacent to the factory for their raw materials. An office space for their visiting executives and a cafeteria for their 100 odd staff members have also been constructed. Phase 2 and phase 3 will involve the extension of the production factory three fold and constructing a residential complex on the site. Keeping in mind the use of modern technology and materials, Elring Klinger, integrates with the rest of the construction in the area, yet creating a niche for itself. |
